Web services are web-based applications that use open, XML-based standards and transport protocols to exchange data with clients. You can have access to the BvD Web services so you can customise our applications to suit you.
How it helps you
If you have a technical department or expertise, it means you can do your own customisation, independently of our technical teams.
If you don’t have this expertise in-house, then we can create customised solutions for you.
- Create your own search interface – sometimes our customers want to have simple company name search on their intranet, or want to limit searching for some employees
- You can automatically populate data fields (most often in CRM and supplier systems) with data from our products. The fields are automatically refreshed as we update them
- Integrate data from our products in your credit scoring systems
- These are just examples – web services can be used to create any type of integration where company information or business intelligence would add value
