We are delighted to announce that Bureau van Dijk brought home bronze in the category of Excellence in B2B Marketing at Singapore's Marketing Excellence Awards for its efforts in compliance.
Held in the Shangri-La Hotel this year, the awards were launched to recognise excellence across the marketing communications services industry. And, with a panel of 23 judges to impress, winning is no mean feat.
Our campaign ‘Compliance – the data way’ was shortlisted for the award in October 2017, alongside the work of four other businesses.
The campaign presented a fully-rounded guide to compliance, via several new marketing vehicles created by our marketing team. These included:
- Several compliance webinars
- New whitepapers, including the 'A-Z guide to compliance'
- A poster detailing how corporate ownership works
- User videos that go into granular detail about compliance
In an era of heightening regulatory requirements, our campaign helped increase awareness of our compliance solutions to a highly targeted audience. Reaching out to compliance professionals in an organisation can present a challenge, so we used the campaign to introduce new ways of getting our message across.
As marketing director for Bureau van Dijk APAC, I was at the finalists' event and was one of the team to collect the award.
So I'd like to thank everyone for the great support we have received. With about 450 campaign entries, we were thrilled to be shortlisted as a finalist. To go on and receive an award for our campaign is fantastic! The award raises even more awareness about our commitment to compliance, as well as Compliance Catalyst, our solution designed to change the way compliance professionals work.
Further to the success at the Marketing Excellence Awards, Bureau van Dijk was also placed in the 'Top 25 compliance solution providers' in 2017 by APAC CIO Outlook, another cause to celebrate as more than 750 providers were considered.
